The book- and philosophy portal www.buphi.net treats your personal data confidentially and according to the legal data protection regulations as well as this privacy policy.  As far as personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail addresses) is collected on our pages on a voluntary basis.

We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) may be subject to security gaps. A complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

The following data will be partially passed on to third parties, mostly for technical reasons, in accordance with this ata protection declaration.

Legal basis General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

In accordance with the provisions of the Beneral Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applicable from 25 May 2018, we hereby inform you that consent to the sending of e-mail addresses is given on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. a, 7 GDPR and § 7 (2) no. 3, or (3) LoUC (Federal law on Unfair Competition). The statistical surveys and analyses as well as the logging of the registration procedure are carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. We are interested in the use of a user-friendly and secure newsletter system that serves our business interests and meets the expectations of the users.


SSL-Encryption

This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.


Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, including your IP address, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your authorisation.


Comment function

For the comment function on this page, in addition to your comment, information about the time of the comment's creation, your e-mail address and, if you are not posting anonymously, the user name you have chosen are stored.


Storage of the IP address

Our comment function saves the IP addresses of users who post comments. Since we do not check comments on our site before they are activated, we need this data to be able to take action against the author in case of legal violations such as insults or propaganda.


Newsletter data

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. We use this data only for sending the requested information. You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The registration to our newsletter is done in a so-called "double opt-in procedure". This means that after registration you will receive an e-mail asking you to confirm your registration. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Because this connection cannot be prevented by buphi.net, this website now also uses the advertising services of Google Adsense.


Demographic characteristics in Google Analytics

This website uses the "demographic features" function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be generated that contain information about the age, gender and interests of the site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising by Google as well as from visitor data from third parties. This data cannot be attributed to any specific person. This website uses Google AdSense, an online advertising service of Google Inc. ("Google"). Our website uses features of the XING network. The provider is XING AG, Dammtorstraße 29-32, 20354 Hamburg, Germany. Cookies

The standard shopware shop module uses specific cookies or web bugs to make the offer more user-friendly and functional. Cookies are text files that are automatically stored locally in the visitor's browser when a website is called up. User account/ accounts

For technical and organisational reasons, the creation of a user account is necessary for each individual shop. In each of these user accounts, you will then be provided with a corresponding download link after purchasing electronic files (ebook, DVD or image files). When you create a user account, we store your title, first name, last name, e-mail address, password and school education, as well as all purchases and your stored comments on the purchased products. Your user account can no longer be deleted by yourself. A solution will only be provided upon separate request to shop(at)buphi.net, and it will only be provided if all agreements made have been fulfilled in full.


Privacy policy

If you have an account for one or more shops, you can request an export of your personal data from us. In addition, you can request the deletion of all personal data that we have stored about you. In this case, you can send your e-mail address to the contact address mentioned in the imprint. A deletion does not include data that we have to keep due to administrative, legal or security-related necessities. Data transmission to "buphi.net" and cross-border data flow

Therefore, "Buphi.net" cannot assume any responsibility or liability for the security of your data during transmission via the Internet.
